Paper E. Clips Plus Division invites you to spend more time with old friends, with the fantastic new mug and water bottle collection (there are 12 mugs and 6 water bottles) based on the classic children’s book series by English author Roger Hargreaves.
Suggested Retail $12.95 Unit:6
The books’ simple and silly stories, with brightly-coloured, boldly drawn illustrations, made them hugely popular, with sales over 100 million worldwide in 22 languages. Originally there were 48 Mr. Men books. Started in 1971; they feature characters with names such as “Mr. Tickle” and “Mr. Happy”. They were later joined by the “Little Miss” series of female characters in 1981.
Mr. Tickle was the first Mr.Men character created by Hargreaves after his son, Adam, asked him what a tickle looked like: a round, orange figure with long, bendy arms.

I must have been a child when I started this company.
So far I have kept my head down about this auspicious day ,but some inspiration from a card by Paper Loop helped me to think about it differently… and we would like to thank everyone who came out and enjoyed a cupcake with us at our booth at the CGTA.
To commemorate this great age we have put together a lovely display wall on the booth, featuring all of the lines that we have carried throughout the last 25 years.. They were great then and they still are great; Art Angels; Two Bad Mice, Ling Design Ltd, Museums & Galleries to name a few.
All of these lovely folks took a chance on a young company, and they all have become great friends . We also have many new friends on the wall. We will post pictures of the booth and the cupcake party in a couple of weeks.
We have a few other surprises, but we don’t want to spoil anything so you will have to wait and see.
25 years…and counting.

Well, we are breathless and happy to announce that we have the Archie Grand notebooks to offer to our Canadian customers. We are working with Jasper + Black in the USA to bring these notebooks to Canada.
These great notebooks feature titles like “HUSBANDS I HAVE HAD AND LIKED” or “SECRET AGENTS I MET AND LIKED”, they come in great colours and have a wonderful quality of paper for sketching and drawing.
These are notebooks to document the life you deserve and the one you cherish.
I love these books they are such fun to introduce. I hope everyone likes them as much as I do!
(These notebooks are made with great care given to their quality. They have a rigid cover, are thread sewn and have a matte leather-like lamination. The size is 160×115 mm and neatly fits the pocket of a suit or a small evening bag. The notebooks contain 120 blank pages of high quality paper that soaks up the ink perfectly. The Notebooks comes individually shrinkwraped.)

Introducing the Jarndyce book cards. 22 cards based on the more bizarre books that Jarndyce booksellers have come across in selling 18th and 19th century books. How to make pastry attractive and the radiation cookbook are 2 of my favorites although “how to by happy though married” is definitely a runner up.
If your ever in London near the British Museum, Jarndyce books is worth a peruse. http://www.jarndyce.co.uk/
We’ve noticed this classic British design everywhere latley! Even as a skin for the iPhone 4!
Check it out at Gelaskins.com
The History:
It was 1939 and Britain was on the brink of war. In anticipation of this the British Government’s Ministry of Information commissioned a series of propaganda posters to reassure the population they would be defended at all costs. One poster simply read “Keep Calm and Carry On”. Although never issued at the time but rediscovered years later. Wild and Wolf present this intriguing and handsome design on a range of everyday items.
Paper E. Clips Plus Division is pleased to carry these products, all of which are in stock and ready to ship!
We are delighted to announce that we have 5 great new shoppers for Christmas…

Last week we were in the IDS show. We had a small pop-up retail shop called PRESTO! It was great fun with a wonderful glamorous gala to kick things off. We were debuting our two new PEC+ lines, Russell+Hazeland W2. Both lines are all about color, and as Russell+Hazel says “…what color are you???” and as for Pantone, well enough said as to that icon of color.
PRESTO! at the IDS Show
PS: the lamp in the picture is from IKEA (everyone asked us) I love it it’s just like a huge dandelion seed.
The Pantone mugs and messenger bags flew off the display and everyone loved making themselves the perfect organizer from the Russell+Hazel collection. All in all much fun was had. We are hoping for great things from both
of these companies!
Koco New York’s new collection of cards and her great new Note books and Journals are a must for anyone that loves expressions and the “music of colour”. The price for these notebooks is great and with pockets and elastics they are anyone’s perfect journal!
This month’s favorite card is from Koco’s new collection. She is a New Yorker in Paris just now. Living la vie en Français and loving it.
Art Angels has been noticed by the Martha Moments Blog, which has given them a nice write-up in the November Blog. marthamoments.blogspot.com
one my favorite companies, is based in Norfolk, England.. It was founded in 1993 by Chris Cordingly, who has worked for years in stationery design and distribution. Chris’s inspiration was to sell stationery products like cards, notes and wrap featuring contemporary artists and designers. Recently he has putting focus on British Printmakers like, Angie Lewen and Edward Bawden, to name two of the many he has published.
All of the cards are also printed in the most ecologically-sound way possible, using only 100% recycled board, or the board is manufactured using elemental, chlorine-free pulp from managed forests that have sound replanting programs in place. The envelopes are also made of recycled paper, and even the cellophane wrappers the cards are sold in are made of a corn starch derivative and are completely biodegradable.
One of my favorite cards from them, but not their newest, is ‘I Have No One To Love Me But The Sailor on the Deep Blue Sea’ by Jonny Hannah. I guess I have been looking at too many Valentines cards. “tis the season” for us.
After over 20 years in the paper business and travels to many countries, I have come across many things that have delighted and impressed me. Paper is the most amazing medium. It is perhaps the only medium that we all experience from a bus ticket to a birthday card. It can be beautiful in its utility and limitless in its artful uses. So I hope to share some of things that amaze and delight me beyond the boundaries of Paper E.Clips. Of course I will also let you all know of the wonderful things we have found to add to the basket of choices we can offer our customers.
What we found this month: If you haven’t heard of her, check out Lisa Hannigan’s new album and this new video for the song “ I don’t know” in which she creates an entire world out of paper cutouts, while she sings . She has a lovely voice and the world she creates with her music and art is only one more reason I need to go to Ireland.
